    @Discgolf38022 he said that because the inter molecular attractions are different for different solvents..therefore each non polar solvent has different inter molecular attractions.

    I think you meant to say.. “polar things can dissolve polar things but nonpolar things cannot dissolve polar things” because like dissolves likes…but you said nonpolar cant dissolve nonpolar at 5:12
